I am directed to inform you that Mr. S. B. B.. Makiderry, a Cadet in the service of this Government, and who is
now on leave in England has been taken temporarily for duty in the Colonial Offiœ.
Mr. McElderry has been drawing his half anlory loonlly hitherto and will continue to do so up to the 29th. February, 1916. It is, however, desired that from the lot.
January, 1916, and during his tour of service in the Colonial Office he should be allowed to draw his full pay,
I am, therefore, to request you to be so good
as to issue pay to him at the following rates:-
From the 1st. January to 17th. January @ £200 per annum. From the 18th January to 29th. February £210 do. and from the 1st. March at the rate of £420 per annum less a deduction of 4% for Widows and Orphans Pensions. His contributions for January and February have bem recovered locally.
In addition to the above Mr. McElderry shoul
be paid a duty allowance of £100 per annum from the 1st. January
inclusive.
